By working in advance with your tax adviser, you can be successful at legally minimizing your tax liability. CPAs are required to stay up to date on the latest developments on federal, state and local tax laws.
We will develop strategies that will ensure that you aren’t paying more than your fair share of taxes.
Dealing with the IRS or any State taxing authority can be intimidating. Missed due dates and/or incorrect interpretation of tax law can lead to tax liens or garnishments. You will want to engage with an experienced tax professional before speaking to the IRS to ensure that your situation gets resolved in an efficient and affordable manner.
A simple tax return software and/or the pleasant "strip mall" tax preparer who is paid by the hour will get the job done, but you will always wonder, "Did I pay too much in taxes?" or "Was my return done correctly?".
By engaging with an experienced CPA, you will sleep well at night knowing that your taxes were done correctly the first time. You will be able to contact me year round for tax advice so that we can avoid unpleasant tax situations at year-end.
My base charge for a 1040 is $575 and $1,800 for a business return. The base charge will increase based on the complexity of the return. An initial, one hour consultation is required for all new clients where we will review prior year tax returns and discuss current year tax concerns. The fee for the initial consultation is $200, paid in advance. If we end up engaging, your first year tax preparation fee will be reduced by the amount paid for the initial consultation.
